The DeWald Livestock Pavillion

OUR DOCTORS AT Clarksville Dental Center are heavily involved within the Clarksville community. Recently, Dr. and Mrs. Ernie DeWald were honored at a ribbon cutting event for the new DeWald Livestock Pavillion. The new DeWald Livestock Pavilion now will provide a new working and learning space for APSU faculty, staff and students. The pavilion was named in honor of Dr. Ernie and Joan DeWald, who supported the project with a major financial gift.

The Sept. 23 event dinner for all of the guests and was followed by the ribbon cutting, and a special bull auction. The auction will feature the sale of APSU’s finest bull stock, “Big John,” named in memory of John Bartee Sr., former founding member of the APSU agriculture advisory committee. Proceeds from the sale went to the University farm.

Dr. Alisa White, President of Austin Peay State University, Dr. Don Sudbrink, chair of the APSU Department of Agriculture, Senator Joe Pitts, and Mayor Jim Durrett and a few others were in attendance at this fantastic event.

The DeWalds are such wonderful people and truly share their talents and hearts with the Clarksville community in any way they possibly can. We are so proud of them and all of their accomplishments!
